By 2024, a friend of mine had introduced me to Qubic, a Layer 0 cryptocurrency that instantly intrigued me. I had been interested in crypto since 2015, but this project stood out. He had just started experimenting with AI to create comic book style stories about the Qubic community. I decided to surprise him with a simple animated version of his comic. That blossomed into some stingers and informational videos that he wrote the narrations for. This was my first foray into attempting to use AI to do the video, too. These are often a mix of traditional layer edit animation and AI animation.
